I've been teaching Evan how to pull hair. And he's been teaching himself new ways to sit at the bar.

Evan squared

Well Carolynn and I went on a date tonight. We left the baby with our friends Brian and Erin over at Team McCropp, and he was entertained with their Evan. Here they are together. Meanwhile, we went off for a walk in the bog (no, that's not a euphemism - I wish it were; we went to Burn's Bog which was pretty cool). It's nice to have some time sans baby, but we find we have little to talk about now that doesn't have something to do with him.

Easy to please

This is Evan's new favourite toy. A simple cube. Well, maybe second to his other favourite toy, which is a green plastic container about the size of a small tupperware. His love for tuppy is unconditional and knows no bounds. I'll have to get a picture of them together.

Like father like son.

Sitting...

Well Evan's Uncle Andrew (my brother) and Nana and Papa were here to visit the weekend before last, and we got a chance to get some nice pictures of Evan sitting up. He seemed quite tickled with himself, as this was the longest he'd ever sat in one spot (well, two spots) his whole life. We still try and keep a pillow by him when he's sitting on hard surfaces, but he's pretty much mastered this (important) life skill now.

Here are some pictures from that weekend. I've decided to put all 18 of them up, because they're so damn cute, and I can't make up my mind which is nicest. Enjoy.
